Before I walked out the door, I expressed doubt to Carmen that I'd see many birds due to the rain. (Oh, how wrong I was.) Her advice was that if I didn't see birds then to take photos of the raindrops on the flowers and plants instead. So as I walked up to the top of Discovery Park I kept my eyes open for photogenic foliage and snapped a few drippy scenes between shooting the birbs. Lovely wife once again comes through with lovely advice.
